Singer Alina Smith didn’t grow up listening to rhythm & blues. Still, many would agree that this hot new R&B performer, steeped in classical music during her childhood in Europe, undeniably has soul. Alina’s music and her voice are far from the ordinary.

Alina Smith was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Russia. At 6, she was offered a scholarship to a renowned music academy. A prodigiously gifted singer, Alina was the youngest performer ever invited into the prestigious choir “Aurora” and the only one honored with solo performances. By 14 she had already started composing and performing original music.

Since she moved to the US, Alina’s songs have brought her notice from music industry professionals and diverse audiences. She was called “a unique and rare talent”, a “total package” by entertainment magazines and radio hosts. Alina's Myspace page as well as Youtube channel had garnered over half a million hits each.

Alina’s album “Piano & Sax” is coming this fall, and in it the singer-songwriter joyfully shares her feelings about love, men and life.
